Pretty Feet

it was a beautiful friday, and it was more beautiful because mommie told me today was the day that ista arrives.  I wanted to wear my best clothes, but by lunchtime, they weren’t so nice…raspberry juice and oysters don’t really look good on a white t-shirt, but I did try.  mommie was fed up, she said.  something about kokos and her hairy feet.  She said kokos had rabbits growing between her toes, and I thought that was funny.  So, lucky for us, we got a car ride, kokos too.  I was a little sad because sassy was in the window wanting to come, but mommie said she has webbed feet, and left it at that.  Wind in my hair, bottle in my mouth, kokos panting in the back – it couldn’t have been a more pleasant moment.  We stopped at the Oasis, I know this because I know all of those letters.  Ma, ‘O’, Ma ‘S’, Ma ‘two S’ Ma, ‘A’, Ma ‘I’…putting them together is a different story, but I sure can spell and count to two.  I got to walk kokos with her red leash all the way to the Oasis door.  The nice lady asked me if I was coming in for a bath, and I got really excited until mommie told me she was just joking.  There were lots of dogs inside, brushing, blowing, bathing, Ma :B:, Ma :3 B: (just kidding)… I digress.. So, we left kokos there and mommie said we were going for a walk to the park, which was right outside the Oasis.  I had been to this park before, it is a park dedicated to Big Ben, cause there is a statue of a big horse which I like to look at.  We ran over the grass and to the river, where I threw rocks by the handful (both handfuls) into it.  I love to throw rocks and watch the ripples and splashes.  There were lots of people in the park, families picnicking, tourists photographing, kids swimming, they were all as busy as me – but, before I knew it mommie said we had to go.  I didn’t protest too much because she reminded me that I could walk kokos back to the car with her pretty feet.  It was the first thing I said when I saw kokos :pretty feet:, no more rabbits!  And, the nice lady gave me some cookies to give to kokos for being a good, beautiful dog.
